The 5,000,000 kwanza banknote was printed in 1995 by Angola. It had a value of 5,000,000 kwanzas reajustados, being the highest denominated piece of currency ever used in Angola.
The note was predominantly blue in color, and also included red-brown and violet features. Depicted on the obverse were portraits of Presidents, Agostinho Neto and José Eduardo dos Santos. On the reverse was the Serra da Leba mountain range, with the coat of arms of Angola in the bottom left corner, and a traditional mask in the upper right corner. For security, a watermark was implemented.
