The 100 kroon coin was a commemorative coin first minted by Estonia in 1992. Since then, a number of coins denominated at 100 krooni have been produced.

Coins[]

The coins were typically composed of either gold or silver, though a platinum coin was minted in 2008. A majority of the 100 kroon coins were round-shaped, with an exception of the 2007 coin, which was strangely shaped like a triangle.

This coin was minted to commemorate the 1992 Monetary Reform. Depicted on the obverse were three lions with legends reading "EESTI" and "ESTONIA". Displayed on the reverse were three Barn Swallows with the value above and the year of minting below.

This coin was minted in commemoration of the 1996 Summer Olympics. Shown on the obverse was the coat of arms of Estonia, with the state title (EESTI VABARIIK) above, and the year of minting below. Depicted on the reverse was Nike crowning a wrestler, with the value and a legend reading "AASTAT OLÜMPIAMANGE".

This coin was minted to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Estonian Declaration of Independence, which was officially signed in 1918. On the obverse was a man on a stylized eagle head, with the value inscribed below. Shown on the reverse were the dates, 1918 and 1998 in a frame, with the state title below.

This coin was minted to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the reintroduction of the kroon. Shown on the obverse was the coat of arms of Estonia, with the state title above and year of minting below. Depicted on the reverse was a cross design, which was surrounded by the coin's value and a legend reading, "KROONI TAASKEHTESTAMISE AASTAPÄEV".
Estonia 100 krooni 2004 Estonian Olympic gold medallists

This coin was minted prior to the 2004 Summer Olympics to commemorate the Estonian medallists, Jüri Jaanson, Indrek Pertelson, and Alexander Tammert. On the obverse was the coat of arms of Estonia with the state title and year of minting. Depicted on the reverse was the Olympic Flame above the rings and value. Surrounding these are the names of nineteen Estonians that competed in the Olympics.

This coin was minted to commemorate the Estonian National Opera. Displayed on the obverse was the coat of arms of Estonia with the state title and year of minting. Depicted on the reverse was the front of the Estonian Theatre building, which houses the opera, the value, and a legend reading, "ESTONIA TEATER".

Depicted on the reverse was a cornflower with the value and a legend reading, "KROONI TAAS-KEHTESTAMISE 15. AASTAPÄEV".
Platinum coin 100kr Estonia 2008 Republic of Estonia

This coin was minted to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Estonian Declaration of Independence. Displayed on the obverse was the lesser coat of arms of Estonia, an oak branch, and the year of minting. Depicted on the reverse were three birds on a wire, along with the value and state title.
