The 10 mark banknote was issued by the Reichskassenschein (Imperial Treasury) of the German Empire from 1874 to 1906. An equivalent to the note, the 10 mark coin was also issued.
The banknote had dimensions of 141 mm in width by 91 mm in height. It was composed of paper that was predominantly colored dark green. The obverse features a woman holding a palm branch, Asclepius's rod, and an oar. The reverse features the value of the banknote. Both sides were designed by the Reichskassenschein.
