The 3 cent or 3 centesimi coin was issued by the Napoleonic Kingdom of Italy from 1807 to 1814. It equalled 3 centesimi, 0.6 soldi, or 0.03 lire.[1]
The coin weighed 6.3 grams and was composed mainly of copper. It had a diameter of 23.5 mm and a circumference of about 73.83 mm, with four lines on the edge or a plain edge. The coin itself was designed by Napoleon and engraved by Luigi Manfredini. Its obverse featured the head of Napoleon, while the reverse featured the Iron Crown of Lombardy, a symbol of the Kingdom of Italy.[1][2]
