The Manila Mint was a branch of the United States Mint that was the first and only US mint to be operated outside of the United States, in Manila in the Philippines. Since the country had become a United States possession after they had won the Spanish-American War, the United States had begun producing coins for the Philippines in 1903 at its mints in San Francisco and Philadelphia.

In 1920, the United States opened the mint. The mint produced US coins until 1922 and then again from 1925 to 1941, until the invasion of the Philippines by the Japanese Empire during World War II. The mint was operated under the Japanese during their occupation. No US coins were produced at the mint after 1941, due to the Japanese occupation and Philippine independence in 1946, though Philippine coinage was still produced in other US mints in 1944 and 1945. The building that housed the mint was eventually destroyed during the retaking of the city in 1945.
