The 100 dollar banknote was first issued by Namibia during 1993. They have been printed during the years 1993, 1999, 2003, 2007, and 2009. Despite not being printed for two years, the note is still circulated in Namibia.
The 100 dollar note is predominantly red in color. It has a width of 146 millimeters by a height of 70 millimeters. Displayed on the obverse is former Namaqua Chief, Hendrik Witbooi with the Tintenpalast and coat of arms of Namibia. Shown on the reverse are five oryx with the flag of Namibia.
