The 2 kalahar banknote was a specimen note printed by Namibia during 1990. It was printed to be a denomination of the proposed kalahar currency, which was to replace the South African rand in Namibia. However, the plan of the currency eventually came to an end and the 2 kalahar note was never issued.
This banknote was predominantly red in color. Displayed on the obverse was the head of a zebra. Shown on the reverse was a plant in the center and a rock formation to the right.
