The 100,000 leu coin was issued in Romania during 1946. Of all coin denominations circulated by the Monetăria Statului, this coin has had the highest value.
The coin was composed of silver and had a mass of about 25 grams. It had a diameter of 37 mm. The coin's obverse featured Michael and was engraved by H. Ionescu, while its reverse featured a standing woman releasing a dove from her hand, which was engraved by A. Romanescu.[1]
