The 50 dobra banknote was issued by São Tomé and Príncipe in 1977 and 1982. It is the lowest denominated note ever printed by the country.
The note was predominantly red in color. Shown on the obverse was an image of the African Grey Parrot (Psittacus erithacus) and Rei Amador. Depicted on the reverse was Pico Cão Grande on São Tomé Island, with people in boats in the nearby ocean.
