The 2 teňňe coin (2 tenge in the Standard Catalog of World Coins) is a circulation coin that was issued in 2009 by Turkmenistan. The piece currently holds the status of legal tender in the country, having a face value equivalent to 0.02 manat. It was produced at the Royal Mint in Llantrisant, Wales, and issued by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

The coin is composed of nickel-plated steel and has a mass of 3 grams, a diameter of 18 millimeters, and a thickness of approximately 1.8 millimeters. It has medallic alignment and a reeded edge, and like most coins, is round in shape. Featured in the center of the obverse is a map of Turkmenistan superimposed by the Independence Monument, a tower in Ashgabat that commemorates Turkmen independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. This illustration is enclosed within a solid circular border. The Turkmen legend "GARAŞSYZ BITARAP TÜRKMENISTAN" (English: "Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan") is printed outside the boundary, along the rim of the coin. It commences in an upward direction at the left periphery of the obverse, arches downward at the top of the piece, and concludes at the right rim. The remainder of the rim is occupied by the five tribal gul designs that appear on the flag and state emblem of Turkmenistan. Engraved inside a circular border in the middle of the coin's reverse is the value "2 teňňe", the numeral and the word printed on separate lines and the former inscribed significantly larger than the latter. The Turkmen title of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, "TÜRKMENISTANYŇ MERKEZI BANKY", is printed along the upper boundary of the coin, starting in an upward direction at the left rim, arching downward at the top of the piece, and ending at the right periphery. Written at the very bottom of the coin is the date "2009" flanked by six flowers, three on each side.

The total mintage of the 2 teňňe coin is currently unknown. The piece is relatively common and generally inexpensive for collectors to purchase.
