Victor Mikhailovich Erokhin (Russian: Виктор Михайлович Ерохин) is a Russian artist most well known as the Chief Artist of the Moscow Mint, a branch of the currency-producing unitary enterprise Goznak.


Erokhin was born on April 16, 1955 in the Soviet Union. After completing his required schooling, he attended the Theater Art College in Moscow and then the Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry. Erokhin worked as a theater artist in his home country until 1978, and later decided to work with coins at the Moscow Mint. He was eventually promoted to Chief Artist of the facility.

Erokhin is a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, Russian Academy of Arts, and Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. He was also awarded the Meritorious Artist honor.

Erokhin has had a hand in the production of various coins during his tenure at the Moscow Mint, mainly commemoratives of Russia and the partially recognized nation of Abkhazia.
